Teens: Become a Living Chess Piece This Thursday!

Put on your best costume or cosplay and become a living chess piece this Thursday during Cosplay Chess. Registration  begins at 5:30pm and the game begins at 6pm. No knowledge of chess is necessary as your life will be in the hands of the chess masters. Kill or be killed! They will decide your fate with the move of a piece. Don't miss out! This program is for teens ages 12-18 years old.

Teens and Tweens: Get in Shape with CrossFit

 Calling all Tweens and Teens! Get in shape at the library! Join us on Wednesday, March 2nd at 4:30pm fo CrossFit for Teens and Tweens. Learn the basics of CrossFit from Nicole Hitt of CrossFit Haste. Don't miss it!

This program is for tween and teens ages 12-18 years old or grades 6-12. 

African American Youth

In honor of our African American Heritage Month, we are excited about having Ms. Kimberly Gay from Prairie View A& M University. She is coming to give a presentation on “The Academic Achievement and Life Success of African American Youth Today”. The event will be held at the Northwest Branch Library on Saturday, February 7th at 3:00 PM. Come and be a part in this celebration.
