Take Me Out of the Bathtub
(Sung to: Take me out to the ballgame)
Take me out of the bathtub
Take me out of the suds
I?ve been here soaking since half past two
I feel so sudsy and wrinkle-y, too.
Oh, I washed all over my body
My head, my toes, in between
I used one, two, three bars of soap
Take me out ? I?m clean!
Rub a Dub, Dub
Rub a dub, dub
Three men in a tub (hold up three fingers)
And who do you think they be?
The butcher, the baker,
The candlestick maker. (point to each finger in turn)
Give them a bath, all three. (rub fingers quickly)
After My Bath
After my bath I try, try, try
To rub myself ?till I?m dry, dry, dry (pretend to rub body with a towel)
Hands to dry and fingers and toes
Two wet legs and one shiny nose
(point to body parts)
Just think how much less time it would take
If I were a dog and could shake, shake, shake!
(shake body)
Bubbles All Around
(Sung to: Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star)
Bubbles floating all around
(pretend to catch bubbles)
Bubbles fat and bubbles round
(make a circle with arms)
Bubbles on my toes and nose
(point to toes and then to nose)
Blow a bubble, up it goes!
(pretend to blow bubble and point up)
Bubbles floating all around.
(pretend to catch bubbles)
