Green Eggs and Ham by:Dr. Seuss
That persistent Sam-I-am finally talks his friend into eating the green eggs and ham. Lots of rhyme and repetition and so much fun when read by two people.
Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You? by:Dr. Seuss
Mr. Brown can make so many wonderful sounds just by using his mouth. With added words placed on a flannel board, children can join in making the sounds and have a fun time answering the last question, "How About You?"
Silly Hat Song
Tune: This Old Man

Each child was given a small Dr. Seuss hat to go along with the song and then put on the different parts of their bodies.

On my head, I wear my hat
It is such a silly hat
That my head will wiggle,
Waggle to and fro…
Where else can my silly hat go?

(Then Foot, Elbow, Knee, Tummy)
Dr. Seussy (Hokey Pokey)
Idea from the Pubyac digest:

Each child was given a red fish, blue fish, two green fish, and one white fish. The fish were the items they put in.

You put one fish in,
You put one fish out,
You put one fish in and you shake it all about.
You do the Dr. Seussy and you turn yourself about.
That's what it's all about!
And so on...
