Robert Kalan by:Jump, Frog, Jump
A simple cumulative tale where the frog tries to catch the fly but ends up being caught himself! The story contains repetitive text good for interaction.
Irene Livingston by:Finkelhopper Frog
Finkelhopper Frog's jogging style and crazy jogging suit make him the object of criticism. This is a great rhyming story for teaching that differences should be celebrated.
Keith Faulkner by:The Wide-Mouthed Frog (pop-up book)
The wide-mouthed frog questions other animals about what they eat until he meets someone that eats wide-mouthed frogs. This book is a hit with all ages.

Frog and his friends have a rhyming good time in and out of the pool.

Wide-Mouthed Frog Plate Puppet:
1. Fold one paper plate in half. Paint the inside red or glue a piece of red contruction paper inside.
2. Take one additional paper plate and cut it in half. Paint the outside of the two halves green.
3. Staple or glue the two other halves onto the folded "mouth" being sure to leave the back open for your hands; in other words, just glue or staple the outer edges.
