*Pronounced kah-SHAH-tah
*Kashatas are am East African sweet treat made with coconut and/or peanut. They are a a cross between candy and a cookie. Lots of sweets are served during Eid.

Eid Greeting Card

*Many families send Eid cards to each other. Eid cards are also sent to those who do not celebrate Ramadan and Eid.

Find a black and white Islamic pattern online.
Copy the pattern onto large mailing stickers and print.
Cut cardstock/construction paper in two and fold in half.
Place sticker on front of card and have children color it.
Write "Eid Greetings" on the inside.
