Run, Turkey Run! by:Diane Mayr
Children help the turkey escape from the farmer by shouting "run, turkey run!" each time the farmer discovers the turkey's hiding place.
Spot's Thanksgiving by:Eric Hill
Board Book. Ask your librarian to find this for you as it is uncatalogued. Classic Spot as he experiences Thanksgiving. He bakes a pie, wears a Pilgrim hat and enjoys time with family.
Ivy Loves to Give by:Freya Blackwood
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Ivy Loves to Give shows a little girl giving various gifts to those around her. First, the gifts go to the wrong creatures/people - a cup of tea to the chicken, a pacifier to the cat, and then later, the right ones, tea to mom, pacifier to baby, shoes to Dad (instead of a snail). It's sweet (and short) and ends with an affirmation of friendship as someone gives a gift to Ivy .
Mr. Turkey
I have a turkey, big and fat (Make a fist with one thumb out for turkey's head)

He spreads his tail and walks like that. (Attach turkey's tail by spreading out fingers of other hand and joining together)

His daily corn he would not miss.
(Poke with thumb at floor)

And when he talks, it sounds like this:

Gobble, gobble, gobble!
Harvest Poem
(Action Rhyme!)

When all the cows were sleeping
And the sun had gone to bed
Up jumped the pumpkin,
And this is what he said:

I'm a dingle dangle pumpkin
With a flippy floppy hat
I can shake my stem like this
And shake my vine like that

When all the hens were roosting
And the moon behind a cloud
Up jumped the pumpkin
And shouted very loud:

I'm a dingle dangle pumpkin
With a flippy floppy hat
I can shake my stem like this
And shake my vine like that
Pumpkin Song
Tune: Have you Ever Seen a Lassie?

Have you ever seen a pumpkin, a pumpkin, a pumpkin,
Have you ever seen a pumpkin, that grows on a vine?
A round one, a tall one, a bumpy one, a squashed one~
Have you ever seen a pumpkin that grows on a vine?

I printed out photos of the various pumpkins and put flannel on the back. This way they could be displayed for the children along with the rhyme.
Turkey finger puppets - http://www.skiptomylou.org/2010/11/19/activities-for-the-childrens-table/

(Or some variation therof)
A rhyme to do with your finger puppet turkey-

Turkey Tango

Turkeys fly high
Turkeys fly low
All turkeys on the floow
Round and round they go

Turkeys fly left
Turkeys fly right
All turkeys run away
And hide out of sight! (hide turkey behind their back)

Turkey on your shoulder
Watch him wobble, wobble, wobble
Turkeys in the middle
Turkeys go out

Gobble, gobble, gobble!
