Douglas Adams, author of the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, wrote “Space is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mindboggling big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.”
No other man may understand this better than Stephen Hawking. His birthday is today. The well renowned physicist has made it his life’s goal to create a theory of everything. In his own words he says, “My goal is simple. It is a complete understanding of the universe, why it is as it is and why it exists at all.” He is 68 years old today.
