Adult Summer Reading Program Begins!: Monday, June 3. The theme this year is Space: A Universe of Stories! Sign up to win prizes!

Origami for Adults: Thursday, June 6, 11 am. Origami Flower Ornament. All materials supplied. For ages 18+. Registration required.

Computer Class: Thursday, June 13, 10:30 am-12:30 pm.One-on-One Computer Help. Sign up for 30 minutes of one-on-one computer help. Registration required.

Creating a Google Account/Google Drive/ Google Basics: Monday, June 17, 3 pm. – Create a Google Account, learn the basics of Google Drive, and the basics of using Gmail. Registration required. You may also register online through the Events Calendar on the La Porte Branch webpage.

Book Discussion for Adults, Monday, June 17, 6:30 pm. – Join us to discuss The Attenbury Emeralds by Jill Paton Walsh. Free. No registration needed. Please call 281-471-4022 if you would like to have the book put on Hold for you.

Antiques Fair at the Library:  Saturday, June 22, 10 am-noon. Bring an antique or collectible (or a photo of the item) to the library. Antique Dealers and Appraisers from ‘Vicki’s Antiques on Main’ will be on hand to assess the item brought in! No registration required. You are also free to come to the event just to listen to the talk about antiques and collectibles!

CineSpace Film Screening: Monday, June 24, 6:30 pm. Join us for a special screening of the 2018 finalists from the CineSpace short-film competition. This annual competition produces a variety of creative films that showcase NASA video footage and photos. A special guest will speak to the audience about film making, and how you can enter next year's competition. Popcorn and bottled water will be provided. Please feel free to also bring your own snacks/drinks. No registration is required. For Adults & Teens.

B.Y.O.C. (Bring Your Own Craft): Saturday, June 29, 10 am.   Calling all crafters! Come meet with your neighbors and chat while working on your project. No registration necessary. Please call 281-471-4022 with any questions.
