Prairie Program- Saturday, September 29, 2 pm: Deer Park Prairie Plants for Pollinators in Urban Gardens: Hear guest speaker Lan Shen, Board Member of Houston Chapter, Native Prairie Association of Texas, speak about prairie plants that attract pollinators in local gardens. She will have free seeds from the prairie for everyone and a few plants to give away for door prizes. Free. No registration necessary. Note: This talk at the library, 600 S. Broadway St., La Porte, is the second part of Fall Prairie Day. The first part of Fall Prairie Day will be at the Deer Park Prairie Preserve, 1222 E.
