April Book Clubs

books and flowersLooking to try something new this spring? Why not join one of our book clubs? Each month, we have book clubs for adults, teens and children that meet to discuss books in a variety of genres. Each of our 7 book clubs (yes, that’s right – 7!) is open to new members, so take a look at the list below to see what they are reading in April. If you find a book club you are interested in joining, stop by the library and see if we have a copy of the book on hand!

Book Clubs for Adults:

  • Afternoon Book Discussion on Tuesday, 4/4 @ 3:00pm: The Plague of Doves by Louise Erdrich
  • Paranormal Book Club on Monday, 4/10 @ 6:30pm: Omens by Kelley Armstrong
  • Inspirational Book Club on Thursday, 4/11 @ 7:00pm: Ordinary Grace by William Kent Krueger
  • After Austen Book Club on Monday, 4/24 @ 7:00pm: Murder at the Brightwell by Ashley Weaver
  • Mystery Book Club on Thursday, 4/27 @ 1:00pm: The Farm by Tom Rob Smith

Book Club for Children in grades 3-5:

  • Chapter Chats on Monday, 4/3 @ 5:00pm: The Wild Robot by Peter Brown
  • Chapter Chats on Monday, 4/17 @ 5:00pm: Secret Coders by Gene Luen Yang
