April Childrens' Events at Freeman Library

Looking for some fun things to do in April?  Here are some of the programs we will be doing in the Children"s Department.   Most programs require tickets.  They are free and available 30 minutes before the program or as soon as we open for programs at 10:15 am.

On Friday, April 5 at 10:15 am, Bayou City Play will bring sand, cardboard boxes, pvc pipe and lots of neat items on the Diana side of the library for children 2-5 years old to have fun!

For children 5-12 years old, we have Make Monday programs on Mondays at 4:30 pm.  We'll be doing Magnetic Mosaics on 4/1, Make a Mug Cooking on 4/8, Lego Free Play on 4/15, Marble Run on 4/22 and Puzzles on 4/29.

Also for tweens 8-12 years old, we have Bluebonnet Booktalk on Thursdays at 4:30 pm.  This weekly program features a brief talk about a book on the 2019-20 Texas Bluebonnet Award list followed by viiewing videos and doing an activity related to the book.  We'll meet on Thursdays, April 4, 11 and 25.

In addition to morning and early afternoon storytimes for the 5 years and younger set, we have Family Storytime on Saturday, April 6 at 11:00 am and Pajama Storytime on Thursdays April 11 and 25 at 6:00 pm.  Tickets for Pajama Storytime will be given out at 5:30 pm.
