April Programs for Adults @ Your Library
We look forward to our Adult Programs this April at the Clear Lake City - County Freeman Branch Library. We will continue with TGIF Programs, various book clubs (mystery, great books, two science fiction/fantasy clubs, and YA Book Club for Adults (online)), Freeman Needlecrafters, Adult Crafts to Go, Clear Lake Area Writers (CLAW), SCORE Counseling, and Creator Space.
As part of Freeman’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, we will host a presentation by National Geographic Adventurer Jennifer Pharr Davis on Wednesday, April 9 at 7:00 PM.
The popular Family Search series resumes Tuesday, April 15 at 1:30 PM. Please contact the library to reserve your spot! Also, please contact the library about registering for SCORE’s Social Media Program on Saturday, April 26 at 10:30 AM.
The Trivia Express (Online Program for people of all ages) “Module #5 – Astronomy” continues through the end of April. The Trivia Express Module #5 Meet Up on Thursday, April 3 at 6:15 PM in the Teen Zone on the 2nd Floor. The Meet Up will continue to the Conference Room at 6:30 PM where the Science Fiction – Fantasy Book Club will assist with participants with the actual trivia. The Trivia Express Featured Film Series will present a feature for Module #5 on Monday, April 7 at 6:15 PM in the Teen Zone. Trivia Express “Module 6 – Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month” launches Thursday, April 10 (online).
