Baldwin Boettcher Library’s Last Day at Lone Star Was Sept 28

Starting as far back as the end of September 2017, Baldwin Boettcher Library has had a place to call home at Lone Star College North Harris.  The college graciously provided an area for us to be stationed, enabling us to have a place for our patrons to pick up holds and return books after being flooded out during Harvey.   Lone Star’s continued support and help has been a blessing to the entire Baldwin Boettcher staff and our wonderful patrons.  Sadly our last day stationed there was Friday, Sept 28th.  It has been a wonderful experience getting to know the awesome staff at Lone Star North Harris, and I believe it is an inter-library relationship that will thrive for years to come.
Since June, Baldwin Boettcher Library has had another location called The Little Blue Library at Mercer Botanic Gardens.  It is located in the blue building across from the Tree House.  The address there is 22306 Aldine Westfield Rd. Humble, TX 77338.  There you can pick up holds, browse a small collection, participate in programs for kids and adults, while enjoying the beauty of the gardens along the way. We do not have computers for the public at this location, but the computers at the library of Lone Star College North Harris are available for public use including printing services.   To see what programs The Little Blue Library has coming up, check our events calendar on our website at or just come by and see us.  We would love to see you there!

It was a pleasure and

It was a pleasure and privilege to serve our Community patrons. Working with and getting to know Carrie and Victoria was a treat. We at LSC - North Harris College Library formed special bonds with them and other Baldwin Boettcher staff as well as the many regulars from the Community in the aftermath of Harvey 2017. I look forward to continuing our friendship and hope we can share programming and events in future. Much love.
