Barbara Bush Library Friends Annual Meeting Monday, May 13@7:00 pm

The speaker for the Annual Meeting will be Carole Little, author of the memoir, Cutting the Strings. Little’s desire to make a difference in the world took her to a refuge camp on the Thai/Lao border where she taught and served as a missionary for more than a year. After traveling throughout Asia, she later accepted a position in Mexico to participate in a teaching exchange program. She stayed six years.

She is currently the President and CEO of Northwest Assistance Ministries.
Her book is a tale of hope, courage and perseverance and serves as a validation to all who contribute the time, talents and treasure to help others.

Our volunteers of the year will be announced at this time, and we will also honor our many other library volunteers and staff. Officers for the upcoming year will be elected. Refreshments will be served.

The Public is invited to attend.
