Birthday Special

Do you know what happened on March 2nd, 1904? A great storyteller was born who explained to us that it’s okay to be different. Dr. Seuss gave us so many wonderful friends and taught us some very valuable life lessons. To honor such a man, his birthday has been marked as National Read Across America Day. This year March 2nd falls on a Sunday so it will be celebrated on March 3rd.

Therefore Barbara Bush Branch Library will have a whole storytime dedicated to Dr. Seuss’ books too. Come and join us on Wednesday, March 5th 2014 for a special preschool story time on the author at 11 AM in the Earl Elliot Room. And if you want to have some Dr. Seuss fun, check out this website for games and activities!
