Today is Tuesday, April 9, and Baldwin Boettcher Library will be having a program for teens and adults at 4 pm in celebration of National Poetry Month.   We will be making black out poems with pages provided  that will be set on display at the Little Blue Library in Mercer Botanic Gardens to be in judged by patrons in a contest .  At the end of the month, we will see who has the most votes and they will be the winner of the wonderful poetry book, “Milk and Honey” by Rupi Kaur.  This will take place under the Tree House.  No registration is necessary.  Those that are unable to make it to the program on April 9, can bring in their black out poem to the library before, or for several days after the 9th.   They have until April 18 to bring in their contribution for the competition.  We will announce the talented winner on Wed. May 1.   For more information, please call Carrie at 832-927-5480. We look forward to seeing you here!
