Book Hunters in Brief #122: Take Your Child to Work Day

Next Thursday is Take Your Child to Work Day, and Book Hunters encourages you, if at all possible, to participate. "But," you say, "my job isn't very exciting." Maybe not to you, but to your kid, it is. It takes up a big part of your day and it represents a big part of who you are, and your child will be excited to get to share it with you.

With that in mind, Book Hunters offers some books about families and work.

Papa's Backpack by James Christopher Carroll

Al Capone Does My Shirts by Gennifer Choldenko

My Life in Pink & Green by Lisa Greenwald

Happy Belly, Happy Smile by Rachel Isadora

Blueberries for Sal by Robert McCloskey

Return to Augie Hobble by Lane Smith

You say you're looking for something to help you escape the grind rather than celebrate it? That's just fine. We've been there ourselves. Just visit Book Hunters, tell us what you like--and don't like--to read, then sit back and relax while we get to work creating a custom reading list just for you.
