Books about Cats

SkippyjonI was just noticing a book on our new book display called “The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Cat Breeds.”  I thought you might like to know that your library has cats thoroughly covered.  We have lots of informational books about cats; their Dewey Decimal number is 636.8, in case you want to browse through them.  There are also lots of great stories about cats.  For kids, there are such favorites as Skippyjon Jones, Rotten Ralph, and Mr. Putter and Tabby.  For adults, there are books by Lilian Jackson Braun (the queen of cat authors), Rita Mae Brown, Lydia Adamson, Marian Babson, and Carole Nelson Douglas.  So, whether you like your cats real or fanciful, the library is the place for you.
