Books on the Bayou 2010 - Persepolis

Books on the Bayou brings together people in Houston & the surrounding areas to read and discuss the same book with activities sponsored all across the community in libraries, bookstores, churches, schools, community centers and more. The Houston Great Books Council encourages people to get together to read and discuss great works of literature and philosophy.  This year's selection for Books on the Bayou is Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi, and the Clear Lake chapter of the Houston Great Books Council has agreed to host a special discussion of this great work at Freeman Library on Thursday, September 23rd at 7:00 p.m. in the Marge Jacobson Community Room on the 1st floor of the library. Come join us!
