Children's Activity Room in the new Library!

The new Kingwood Branch Library Children’s Room will be a beautiful and an exciting experience. Located on the ground floor overlooking the forest, it will have its’ own reference area, audio books, areas for study, and reading, computers at a child’s level, and its own self check machines so that materials can be checked out in the children’s area.

Best of all, the children’s area will have its’ own activity room, complete with a small craft preparation area. There is a wall of cabinets faced with white board for use in our expanded programming that will be scheduled year round. Extra toddler and infant times, and interesting programs for school aged children will be offered during the school year as well as during the summer.
