Coming Soon: Project Peep!

We have eggs-citing news! Project Peep is coming to the Barbara Bush Library!

In March, we will be incubating eggs, watching as they hatch and learning about eggs and chickens in fun programs.
But, we need your help! We are looking for foster parents for the baby chicks. Children must be between 7-12 years old to sign up as a foster parent.

Ten lucky families will take two baby chicks home and care for them for two weeks. To participate in this unique experience, the families must be willing and able to attend:
Foster Chick Parenting Class
Saturday, March 4th 11am-12pm
Project Peep Reunion Party
Saturday, April 8th at 11am

If you cannot attend both programs – a family on the waiting list will be notified. For more info regarding Project Peep, please contact us at 281.376.4610.
*** Applications will be available at the Children's Information Desk starting Saturday, February 18th ***

This unique animal science program is brought to Harris County Public Libraries through a grant provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC).
