Creator Space @ Freeman Library

We’re excited to kick off Freeman Library’s partnership with CreatorSpace on Monday, 11/4 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room with a presentation titled "3D Printing - From Ideas to Reality".  This demonstration covers the entire process from developing an idea using free software to creating plastic objects.  3D printers featured will be the Makerbot Thing-O-Matic, the Vellemen K-8200 and the Prusa Mendel.

On Monday, 11/18 at 7 p.m. we will continue with a presentation on Arduinos, and the following week, Monday, 11/25 at 7p.m. will be either a continuation of the discussion on Arduinos or a presentation on computer-aided design software.  Take advantage of this fabulous, free opportunity to learn about tools that can help you create your next project.

CreatorSpace is Houston's MakerSpace near NASA's Johnson Space Center.  As always, be sure to check our Events Calendar, our Facebook page, or sign up for our newsletter the next time you're in the library to keep up with what’s going on at Freeman.
