I’ve never seen an Ancient Egyptian wig. Shocking, I know. But, it struck me when I was glancing through the 2006 publication of Masterpieces of Ancient Egypt by Nigel Strudwick. The wig (on page 195) is a combination of Caribbean dreadlocks and the Orphan Annie fro. I don’t remember seeing anything like it in the Egyptian hieroglyphs. What do you think?
