Fascinating Vietnam Photography Exhibit

In celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, the library is hosting a photographic exhibit by award winning photographer Peter Bowman during the month of May.  As a photographer, Mr. Bowman has worked with a wide variety of subjects.  For this display he is focusing on the country of Vietnam.
More than 40 years have passed since the last American troops left South Vietnam.  Mr. Bowman’s hope is that people will be able to look beyond Vietnam’s scars of war and see the country as a beautiful and fascinating land and people.
The Friends of Evelyn Meador will host a reception for Mr. Bowen on May 20th at 6:00 pm in the Meeting Room/Gallery.  This event is open to the public and everyone is invited.
Tours of the exhibit are also available on request during normal library operating hours.
