Free Computer Classes Continue

You still have time to sign up for September computer classes at Parker Williams. Technical Training Assistant Jose Ramirez teaches the free classes, which are designed for adults.

“For the month of September, I recommend computer and internet basics for anyone new to computers,” Ramirez says. “Microsoft Word is a great class for anyone who knows how to use a computer. My Advanced Excel class is for everyone who took Excel Basics.”
Classes in English that still have openings are:
  • Harris County Public Library Online Catalog, 5-6:30 pm Sept. 1
  • Harris County Public Library Online Catalog, 7-8:30 pm Sept. 1
  • Computer Basics, 10:30-noon, Sept. 2, 3, 9 and 10
  • Advanced Excel 2007, 10:30-noon Sept. 16, 17, 23, 24 and 30
  • Microsoft Word 2007 Basic, 1:30-3 pm Sept. 16, 17, 23, 24 and 30
  • Internet Basics, 7-8:30 pm Sept. 21, 22, 28 and 29

  • Computacion Basica, 1:30-3 pm, Sept. 2, 3, 9 and 10
  • Computacion Basica, 5-6:30 pm Sept. 8, 14 and 15
  • Internet Basico, 5-6:30 pm Sept. 21, 22, 28 and 29
