Fun4Seniors June Excursions from Kingwood Branch Library
Participating is simple. Participants must be 50 years and better and must register for trips by calling 281-893-3726. All trips depart from and return to Kingwood Branch Library located at 4400 Bens View Lane, Kingwood TX 77339. Transportation is free and lunch is on your own. Some destinations require an admission fee. Please note trips may be cancelled due to low registration so be sure to register immediately!

Thursday, June 5, 8:45 AM - 4:45 PM: Texas Quilt Museum, LaGrange. Voted Best Museum in Fayette County, the Texas Quilt Museum is housed in two historic 1890s buildings and showcase for both antique and contemporary quilt art. The cost is $6 with lunch on your own at Legal Tender Brisket and Brew.
Tuesday, June 24, 9:30 AM - 2:15 PM: Volunteer Opportunity with HAAM (Humble Area Assistance Ministries), Humble. This tour is specifically designated as one that showcases a volunteer opportunity in the local area. Humble Area Assistance Ministries (HAAM) is a faith-based organization that helps community residents in crisis by providing essential resources to move towards self-sufficiency. Here you will see the many ways you could help those less fortunate while viewing the HAAM facility. 2,800 volunteers contributed more than 39,000 hours in 2013 in a variety of volunteer positions. Participating in this trip is FREE with lunch on your own at Chuy's.
