Houston Money Week @ HCPL

When most people think of literacy, they think of the ability to read and write, but there are many kinds of literacy (digital, information, wellness, to name a few) and all of them are crucial to success in life. One of the most important, and most neglected, is financial literacy. We're not just talking about the ability to make change and write a check. We're talking about avoiding the countless pitfalls and meeting the many challenges that stand between you and financial well-being. Houston Money Week is an annual financial education initiative that aims to help people of all ages to do just that. This year Houston Money Week runs April 9 - 16 and Harris County Public Library will be taking part. We will be hosting three great programs:
