Hunger Games Casting Update!

It's casting time again and five more parts are claimed!  Effie Trinket, Rue, Thresh, Glimmer, and Prim have officially been cast.  Here they go:

Effie Trinket will be played by......

Elizabeth Banks!   This 30 Rock actress has been in a lot of comedies over the years and the minute I saw her cast in this part I thought, "she's perfect!  why didn't I think of her before?"

Primrose Everdeen will be played by:

Willow Shields!  Who is a new face!  Really not much else I can say here....

To play Glimmer we have:

Leven Rambin! Not to be confused with popular book character Leven Thumps!  (sorry, couldn't resist)  

And for Rue:

Amandla Stenberg, another new face!

and  finally for today Thresh was cast :

Dayo Okeniyi, who rounds out our new faces!
