I Want To Write a Book. Now What?
This Saturday is the day! The library will be hosting I Want To Write a Book. Now What? panel discussion. It will be an awesome opportunity to get some insight on writing and publishing. With that said, we want to introduce the final two panelists, Carla Rossi, and Kara O’Neal
Carla Rossi is a multi-published, award-winning author as well as a cancer survivor, life-long music minister, and speaker. She has been writing inspirational romance for Pelican Book Group since 2007. Her first YA short story, How Nick and Holly
Saved Wrecked Saved Christmas is due out in November, and her next full-length inspirational romance, Unexpected Wedding releases in early 2014. Carla lives north of Houston with her husband and writing partner –a Maine Coon Cat.
Kara O'Neal was born and raised in Texas. After surviving those awkward years of 7 to 16, she spent two years at Sam Houston State University where she met her husband. He followed her to Texas Tech University and was proud when she graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Human Development. Soon after graduation Kara followed her heart and became certified to teach Special Education. Becoming an author was a dream she stumbled upon. With the encouragement of her family and friends, she didn't discard this risky adventure. She is the author of Welcome Home.
Once again we are very thankful to the Northwest Houston Romance Writers of America for sitting on this panel. With these authors’ experiences, it should prove to be an extremely informative event. We’ll see you Saturday, November 9th, at 11 am in the Earl Elliott Room.
