The Lone Star College-Tomball Community Library invites everyone to the its free International Festival on June 5th from 11 am – 3 pm. The day begins with crafts and games. A mariachi band, a didgeridoo player and a bagpiper highlight the day. Tables hosted by volunteers representing their countries, including Mexico, China, Brazil, Scotland and more, will feature cultural displays and food. The Chick-fil-A Cow and Trevor the Timberwolf, the college’s mascot, will also be on hand to celebrate a day of fun for the entire family.

Staff will help register customers for the 2010 Summer Reading Program. This year’s themes for the Summer Reading Program are: Catch the Reading Express for children, birth to age 12; Within Arms Reach… The Future is Yours for teens, ages 12-18; and Reader Nation: Journey to the Amazon for adults, ages 18 and older. Don’t miss all the special activities in the library that day.
