Karla Kuskin, Children's Author has Died

Karla Kuskin, author of many children's books has died at age 77.  Harris County Public Library has many of her books:

  •  The Animals and the Ark    Noah fears a mutiny of biblical proportions in this story of what "really" happened on the ark.
  •  I Am Me   After being told how she resembles other members of her family, a young girl states positively and absolutely that she is "NO ONE ELSE BUT ME."
  •  So What's It Like to Be a Cat?   A cat answers a young child's questions about such things as how much and where it sleeps, and whether or not it likes living with people.
