The Last Lie
After The Siege, White gets back to writing about Alan Gregory, his Boulder area psychologist/sleuth. Alan and his family, including his adopted son Jonas, are dealing with the arrival of new neighbors, living in Jonas’ old house across the street. Will they tear down the beloved barn/studio that Jonas’ father worked in? Will they remodel and change his beloved home completely? Before they can find out much about the new neighbors, police start investigating an incident that occurred at a house warming party that the new folks were hosting. Concerned about his family, Alan starts to investigate also. As always, I enjoy the characters as well as the puzzle.
