Looking for a Good Book?

Bobbie FayeClick here for a list of the books that the Fairbanks Library Book Club has read over the past seven years or so.  We enjoyed almost all of them.  This summer, we're reading two suspense novels with a humorous novel in between.  In June we read Sister by Rosamund Lupton.  It’s about a young woman who is investigating her sister’s death because she doesn’t believe, like the police do, that it was a suicide.  Everyone in the group liked it.  In July, we’ll read Charmed and Dangerous by Toni Causey.  It’s a fun story about a young woman who takes on the police, organized crime, a sexy hostage, and a disgruntled former boyfriend to rescue her brother, keep custody of her niece, and get back in time to serve as queen of a local festival.  I read it a few years ago and enjoyed it.  In August, we’ll read Catch Me by Lisa Gardner, a suspense story that was highly recommended by a friend of mine.  She thought she had everything figured out, but at the end, she was completely surprised.
