May Book Clubs

books and flowersLooking to try something new this spring? Why not join one of our book clubs? Each month, we have book clubs for adults, teens and children that meet to discuss books in a variety of genres. Each of our 7 book clubs (yes, that’s right – 7!) is open to new members, so take a look at the list below to see what they are reading in May. If you find a book club you are interested in joining, stop by the library and see if we have a copy of the book on hand!

Book Clubs for Adults:

Paranormal Book Club on Monday, 5/8 @ 6:30pm: Prudence by Gail Carriger
Inspirational Book Club on Thursday, 5/11 @ 7:00pm: At Bluebonnet Lake by Amanda Cabot
After Austen Book Club on Monday, 5/22 @ 7:00pm: Love and Friendship by Whit Stillman
Mystery Book Club on Thursday, 5/25 @ 1:00pm: Phantom Instinct by Meg Gardiner
Afternoon Book Discussion on Tuesday, 6/6 @ 3:00pm: Behold the Dreamers by Imbolo Mbue

Book Club for Teens:

Homeschool Book Club* on Monday, 5/15 @ 1:00pm: I Am Princess X by Cherie Priest

Book Club for Children in grades 3-5:

Chapter Chats* on Monday, 5/22 @ 5:00pm: Sunny Side Up by Jennifer L. Holm

*These book clubs will take a break during Summer Reading. Look for more information about them next fall!
