Meet the I-Team
I don't know if I've told you this before, but I'm kind of a hoarder. A book hoarder, that is. I buy books and put them in the bookcase and then sometimes forget to read them. Recently, a novella I purchased for my Kindle led me to the discovery that I had almost all of Pamela Clare's I-Team series in my bookcase. Once I actually read the first one, I didn't stop until I had finished the entire series.
It was unusual to me to find a romantic suspense series that was centered completely around the female character's jobs, instead of the male. The I-Team is a team of investigative reporters for a Denver newspaper. Each book follows a different reporter and a different type of news story that forms the background for the romance. The plots were all interesting, the dialogue well-written, and the characters were so engaging that you looked forward to seeing all of them again in the next book.
