Monday at the Little Blue Library

Today is Monday, June 10th and the Little Blue Library inside Mercer Botanic Gardens has several programs for the whole family.  First at 10:30 am we have Story Time in the Gardens.  It is for ages 2 to 6 years old and takes place under the Tree House.  After the story a craft will follow.  Then at noon we have Kid’s Café.  Enjoy a delicious and nutritious free lunch provided by the Houston Food Bank.  It takes place under the Tree House and is for kids and their accompanying adult.  Later this evening at 6 pm we will have ESL class taught by our beloved Cindy Groover.  It is a free class that is for all community members that desire to learn to speak the English language or improve their English-speaking skills.  Cindy uses exercises that give the participants a chance to practice speaking English.  It takes place in the Mercer Botanic Center located at 22540 Aldine Westfield Rd.  For more information on the location or class, please call Cindy at 832-927-5480.  Also, do not forget to sign up for the Summer Reading program.  It is for all ages and the link to it is on our website at hcpl.net.  There is a lot going on this summer at the Little Blue Library, so we look forward to seeing you soon.
