NASA Day @ My Library

Do you have an astronomer in the family?  Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be an astronaut and actually spend time in space?  At the Maud Marks Library, we have TWO space related programs coming up over the next week to feed your inner scientist!

First up, on Tuesday, January 30 at 6:30 PM, astronomers of all ages are invited to come See the Stars!  The Astronomy Society at hthe University of Houston will be here to teach us all about stars and other things you might see in our local sky.  They will even be bringing telecopes with them so you can seee for yourself what the stars and planets look like.

Then, Saturday, February 3 is NASA Day @ My Library.  A representative of NASA's Johnson Space Center will be here to tell us all about living and working in outer space.  We will have crafts, space food, antigravity drops, rockets, exhibits, and more!  NASA Day @ Your Library is a ticketed event.  Tickets will be given out beginning at noon on Saturday, February 3.
