Pen & Paintbrush Book Discussion

The Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts and the Barbara Bush Branch Library presents the Pen and Paintbrush Book Discussion on January 31, 2019 in the museum's Northgate Forest Conference Room.

During each museum exhibition cycle, a written work related to current art exhibitions is selected for discussion. Pen & Paintbrush events include a discussion of the selected work, followed by a tour of current art exhibitions with a special emphasis on the common themes they share.  This event is open to all – no membership or RSVP is required!

The upcoming featured selection is "A Piece of The World" by Christina Baker Kline (2017). This instant New York Times bestseller is a stunning and atmospheric novel of friendship, passion, and art, inspired by Andrew Wyeth's mysterious and iconic painting, "Christina's World." American artist Andrew Wyeth, along with three other artist members of the Wyeth family, are featured in the Pearl's current exhibition, "An American View Revisited: The Hosek Collection of American Art."
