People, Places & Things Photo Exhibit

The Photography of Mary Anne Elliott

“After turning in my secretarial tools 12 years ago, I enrolled in a senior citizen photography class taught by a retired photographer. My journey began with a birthday present of a digital camera from my husband. Since that time I have had many pieces of work exhibited in several venues, progressing from pretty pictures of flowers and grandchildren to more edgy or creative works.
My proudest achievements have been the choice of my photos twice for the cover of the University of Houston at Clear Lake Biosphere Literary Magazine, as well as use of one of my photos on the official Christmas card for the Arts Alliance of Clear Lake one year, and my solo exhibit at the Freeman Branch Library of Clear Lake in 2009. I will add my solo exhibit at the Evelyn Meador Library in Seabrook to this proud list of achievements.”

Please help us extend a warm welcome to Mrs. Elliott as a new artist in our gallery. Tours are available on request and the exhibit will be showing through February.
