Reading Resolutions

Since reading is such an important part of my life, each year I make reading resolutions, in addition to the traditional New Year's Resolutions.  The reading resolutions are usually much easier to keep!

happy new year

Here is my plan for 2010:

  • Get back in the audiobook habit.  Listening to audiobooks in the car makes me a more relaxed driver.  I love having someone tell me a story.  I've started early with this one and am enjoying The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd.  More audiobooks = less road rage.
  • Make my reading diet more balanced.  Read more of the broccoli and whole grain books (literature and nonfiction) and less of the chocolate eclairs (vampire books).  First up is This is Where I Leave You by Jonathan Tropper.
  • Read an entire ebook on my phone or an ebook reader.  This will need to be a page-turner, so maybe I'll try J.R. Ward's latest book, Covet.

Do you have any reading resolutions?
