I’m so excited because we’ve just added books from one of my favorite authors, Penny Reid, to the library’s collection.  Penny wrote her first book, Neanderthal Seeks Human: A Smart Romance, as a dare and is apparently still amazed at how much we enjoy her books.

Her first series, Knitting in the City, focuses on a group of friends that comprise a knitting group in Chicago.  Don’t let that fool you, many zany hijinks ensue - this is not your typical knit club book, which I think you’ll discover from page one of Neanderthal Seeks Human

As well as being a mother, Penny works full time in biomedical research at a large university, so unfortunately she can’t spend all her time writing to feed the addiction of her fans, but she definitely tries!  I’m looking forward to hearing from others who experience her books for the first time now that several of her books are available both in print and as eBooks from our collection
