The Robotics Camp is back! The USA LEGO ® Education WeDoTM Robotics program introduces young students to robotics. The students will build LEGO models featuring working motors and sensors. Camp students will develop their skills in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, as well as language and literacy. This beginning Robotics Camp is recommended for children ages 7 – 10.
The Robotics Camp starts on Saturday, February 6 and continues on February 13, February 20, February 27 and March 6. There are two available sessions: 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm OR 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm.  Participants are expected to attend all five classes. Registration opens Tuesday, January 19, 2010, at 10:00 am. Registration is required and available online through the Events Calendar, by phone and at the Kid’s Information Desk. Please register for only one session. If you have any questions, contact us at 281-488-1906.
Registration is limited. If you don’t make this session, check back in the summer and fall. The Robotics Program is a great success and future sessions will be offered! And, let’s give a big “thank you” to our sponsors, United Space Alliance and Friends of Freeman Library!
