Senior Classic Movie Morning

This summer the Barbara Bush Branch Library will have offer Senior Classic Movie Mornings twice a month.  July will be Danny Kaye month and we will show two classic movies starring Danny Kaye.

On July 5 we will show a movie from 1949 also starring Glynis Johns, Basil Rathbone and Angela Landsbury.

“In 12th century England, the infant king is usurped by the wicked King Roderick. A loyal band attempt to restore the rightful king by having a member of their group infiltrate the court by posing as the jester.”

On July 19 we will show a movie from 1949 also starring Elsa Lanchester, Alan Hale and Gene Lockhart.

“A corrupt village wrongly suspects the idiot assistant of a medicine-show operator of being the emperor's omnipotent inspector general in disguise.”

Senior Classic Movie Morning will be the 1st and  3rd Friday of each month. The movie will start shortly after 10:00 AM and will usually end around Noon.  Come with a friend or meet a new friend. August will be Agatha Christie month. Call the library at 281-376-4610 for the movie titles. The address is 6817 Cypresswood Drive in Spring. Refreshments are provided by Magnolia Heights Assisted Living and Memory Care.
