Sensory Sensitive Film
In support of National Autism Awareness Month LSC Tomball Community Library will show a Sensory Sensitive Film on Saturday, April 26 from 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM in the Meeting Room which is number L129.
This frosty, musical film is about two very loving, but different princess sisters who have quite an exciting adventure.
What is a Sensory Sensitive Film? Here’s what to expect, sensory sensitive means that it is totally acceptable to move around, talk, get up, dance, sing, and shout during the film especially if sitting politely and quietly is a challenge. It’s a welcoming and accepting environment for those who need to move around. Additionally, the lights will be left up and the sound will be turned down. You can bring in outside snacks to meet any special dietary requirements. For our program, a parent must accompany and stay with your child.
Friends and family of varying disabilities are encouraged to join us. Ask us about theaters that offer Sensory Sensitive Film showings. Hope to see you there!
