September Programs @ Your Library

The Clear Lake City - County Freeman Branch Library invites you to join us for our Adult Programs this September*.  We will continue with TGIF Programs, various book clubs (mystery, great books, two science fiction/fantasy clubs, and YA Book Club for Adults), Freeman Needlecrafters, Adult Crafts to Go, Clear Lake Area Writers (CLAW), and SCORE Counseling.

We will be starting a new program with Family Search, helping people in online genealogical research. Please contact us about availability in these sessions. Also, we have another “APPy Hour” evening program on Thursday, September 12th at 7 PM in the 2nd Floor Conference Room.  We’ll see the return of the MWA Advisors’ sessions on Retirement Planning.

Hispanic Heritage Month is September 15th to October 15th. To celebrate, we will be having a Hispanic Heritage Month Family Time on Thursday, September 19th, starting at 4 pm. Registration for the Girl Scout SWAPSortunity Day on Saturday, September 28th, part of the Girl Scout Express Event Series, has opened. Please contact the the 2nd Floor Reference Desk for details.
