Seussational Fun!

We are planning a party to celebrate Dr. Seuss and families are invited!

When: Friday, February 28th at 4 pm (registration required)

For: Children ages 3 to 12 years old

Did you know that Theodor Seuss Geisel, aka. Dr. Seuss loved hats?  Not only did he have, a personal collection that included hundreds of hats; many of his characters also have hats as part of their persona. I recently learned, this year is the 75th anniversary of  The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins, and we will be using it as our inspiration for our craft.   Sadly, this book is a little too long for our program, but it would be a wonderful item to share with members of your family.

We value and appreciate how much your children enjoy our programs, and we desire to make this a fun event for everyone. To ensure the safety of our participants registration will be required. You may register online  for the program starting Friday, February 14th at 6:00 am.   If you do not have a computer, or need assistance, please contact the library during business hours.

Updated post on Monday, February 17

The Dr. Seuss Party is now full.  If you have registered for the program, but are not able to attend, please contact the library so that we may call the next person on our waiting list.  Thank you. 281-812-2162
