Snakeman Shares Slithering Snakes
Children gasped in awe as The Snakeman pulled out snake after snake during his show for the Summer Reading Program at Parker Williams Library. The Snakeman, aka Thomas Davies, shared about 9 different kinds of snakes and one tortoise as he told his rapt audience about the natural history of the snakes and about different kinds of snakes in Texas.
Don't miss our next Summer Reading Program event -- a performance of Jack and the Beanstalk by Express Children's Theatre. Tickets are required for the program, which begins at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 22. Tickets are available only on the day of the show. Be sure to pick them up early and to arrive on time to ensure admission. Tuesday programs are designed for children ages 5 and up. Adult chaperones are admitted if space allows.
