Some Photos from the Evelyn Meador Groundbreaking Ceremony.
For those of you who missed the official groundbreaking for the new Evelyn Meador building on February 19th, here are a couple of photos. Since then, both the building and the parking lot have been razed, making room for construction of the new facility to begin.
Precinct 2 Commissioner Sylvia Garcia talking about the new state-of-the-art facility.
The groundbreaking! From left to right: Lynn Meador Hall (daughter of Evelyn and Rex Meador), Seabrook Mayor, Gary Renola, Friends President, Marianne Kolar, Commissioner Garcia, and Harris County Library Director, Rhoda Goldberg.
