Staff picks: The Hunger Games

It’s been tough, but between illegal hunting and other risks, Katniss Everdeen has kept her family fed since her father died in a mining accident.  But when the 74th annual hunger games arrive Katniss finds herself on the way to the arena where she and 23 other “tributes” will find themselves in a battle to the death.
