Succeed in School with Monday Mentoring!

Have you ever felt like this picture while doing homework? If so, we have good news for you. The Evelyn Meador Library is committed to working with our local community to help students succeed in school. As such, we are happy to announce the beginning of a new program at the library: Monday Mentoring.

Monday Mentoring is a program where honor students from Clear Lake Falls High School will be coming to the library to help our local Elementary and Intermediate students do homework and prepare for tests. We have partnered with the PALS program to ensure that we have wonderful volunteers who have been trained to help mentor younger students while working with them to complete assignments. In addition to our volunteers, we will also give access to library laptops and other resources to ensure that every student has the resources they need to complete their work. This program will be taking place every Monday from 3:00 to 5:00 PM in the Discovery Zone, with the exception of school holidays. We are glad to offer the space for these wonderful volunteers and promise that if you need help with any assignment that you will get the help you need.

If you can’t come to the library on Monday, we also have many other resources to help you succeed in school. Come and use some of our books and databases for research, or consult one of our helpful librarians for help on a project. We are always happy to help and look forward to seeing you in the library soon.
